Le Squadriglie del Riparto Brownsea del Gruppo Scout Casandrino I appartenenti all’A.S. C.I. Esploratori e Guide d’Italia sono da poco rientrate dal Campo Estivo. Quest’anno il luogo prescelto è stato Serino (AV) sulle pendici del massiccio del MonteTerminio in località Tana del Ghiro. Il ricco programma prevedeva lo svolgimento del tema incentrato sull’antica Grecia tra miti e leggende.
Ovviamente oltre alle consuete attività di scouting come il montaggio tende, l’alzabandiera , i percorsi con i segni di pista, i fuochi di bivacco serali, i ragazzi hanno praticato i giochi sportivi classici dell’antica Olimpia arrivando ad accendere con la fiaccola, il braciere olimpico. Non è mancato un giorno di avventura con l’hike a sorpresa durante il quale gli squadriglieri hanno raggiunto la Kolchide, antica regione ellenica, dove hanno pernottato dopo essersi intrattenuti al fuoco di bivacco.
Al campo è stata celebrata la S. Messa all’aperto animata dal suono delle chitarre e alla quale hanno partecipato anche i fratelli dell’AGESCI del Gruppo Ercolano 1. A fine messa l’Esploratore Emanuele Davino ha pronunciato la sua Promessa, diventando Scout per sempre. Anche se tra le squadriglie una sola è quella che ha collazionato più punti delle altre, in realtà tutti hanno vinto il campo perché, scommettendo con sé stessi, hanno dato prova di competenza e maturità.
